R v. AR [Court of King’s Bench, Calgary – September 2024]

SUMMARY: AR was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in relation to 2.5 kilograms of fentanyl with a purported street value of  $386,000.00.  

RESULT: Patrick Fagan was successful in having all charges against AR terminated just prior to commencement of King’s Bench trial proceedings as a consequence of the constitutionally problematic nature of the search and seizure.
